I Love Bows

I extremely LOVE bows! This was also made by screen printing. First I created the bows with a silk screen and screen filler. I made it a overall pattern so I didn't have to follow a exact pattern and could place the screen wherever I needed. Then  I wanted something with more of a background and made strips using a screen and painters tape. Note place the strips before the bows. The first one was made on generic cotton muslin and the second on thick canvas fabric. Tutorial to follow soon!

Screen Printing Made EASY!

This is a simple design I created using a silk screen, tape, and screen filler. The screen is the size of the orange pattern and was repeated in pink as well. This is great to do if you want a certain simple design and cant find it at you'r local store. Tutorial coming soon.

Silk Attack!

If you didn't know I am obsessed with natural materials. This is a 36"x34" Chinese Silk other words known as  Habitat Silk. I used fiber reactive dyes and multiple  processes including.....batik using soy wax, urea, tie die techniques like tying, and shabori clamping. I would like to have a tutorial to show how to do basic techniques with dying.

New Puppy

I got a surprise a couple of weeks ago!!!! My amazing boyfriend Andy told me "we are going to Macon and picking up our new puppy". Oh course I freaked out and hugged him like crazy. So.....this is my new Schnauzer puppy named Sjadow said like Shadow. This picture is about 3 weeks old and hes gotten ALOT bigger since then. Hes a hand full and now 12 weeks old.
